Choose Adsterra when
Your offer is not adult: VPN, utilities, software, games, iGaming, e-commerce or sweepstakes, bought on CPM, CPC or CPA with self-serve tools.
Choose TeleBoost when
Your channel is adult, which Adsterra’s terms exclude, and you want members in it, paid per member who joined.
This comparison is written by TeleBoost, which sells members for adult Telegram channels, so read it as one side of the table. What it says about Adsterra comes from Adsterra’s own public pages, read on 3 October 2026 and listed at the bottom. We do not quote Adsterra’s prices: they change, and a stale figure would be our mistake, not theirs.
What Adsterra is
Adsterra, contracted through Ad Market Limited of Cyprus and its affiliates, was founded in 2013 and sells to brands, agencies, affiliate teams and DSPs while also paying publishers to monetise their traffic. Its pages give different totals, all in the tens of billions of ad views a month. Formats are popunders, its own Social Bar with in-page push and interstitial variants, native and display banners and pre-roll video; popunders, Social Bar and native banners are self-serve, the rest go through a manager.
Self-serve buying is CPM, CPC or CPA depending on the format, with Smart CPM bidding and a CPA goal that cuts placements by cost per action; CPI and CPL are available through a manager. Each campaign is approved by hand and run through a security check.
Where Adsterra is strong
- Self-serve simplicity. Popunders, Social Bar and native banners can be launched without talking to anyone, with a traffic estimator to size a test first.
- CPA tools. A CPA goal and Smart CPM trim placements and bids automatically once your postback is in place.
- Mainstream verticals. It names VPN and utilities, software, games, iGaming, e-commerce, social and dating, video on demand and sweepstakes as strong verticals.
What Adsterra’s terms say about adult content
Clause 7 of Adsterra’s terms for advertisers lists the goods and services that may not be advertised, and the list includes pornography of any kind and adult or mature content. Its help centre repeats that campaigns with pornographic content cannot run, and no advertiser page describes an adult or non-mainstream channel; its dating vertical is not described as adult anywhere we read.
Telegram as a destination is not mentioned either; its Telegram content is about publishers monetising their own Telegram traffic. For an adult offer, the networks that do take adult traffic are in our comparison of adult ad networks, and HilltopAds is the one that documents Telegram links as a destination.
Adsterra and TeleBoost side by side
| Adsterra | TeleBoost | |
|---|---|---|
| You pay for | Impressions or clicks: CPM, CPC or CPA depending on the format, Smart CPM and CPA goal; CPI and CPL through a manager. | A net increase in members, counted from your channel's starting count. People who leave during delivery are replaced at our cost until the number is reached. |
| How a person reaches your channel | Sees a popunder, Social Bar, native or banner ad, clicks, lands on your page, and would still have to open Telegram and join. | Already inside Telegram, in an adult channel we run. Your channel shows up in a shared chat folder and joining is one tap: no landing page, no app to install. |
| Your work | Creatives, landing and pre-landing previews, bids, black and white lists, postback. | Add the bot to your channel as admin (it never asks for a password), then keep posting. |
| What gets measured | Impressions, clicks and the conversions you send back by S2S postback. A join inside Telegram does not fire a postback by itself. | A bot inside your channel counts every join and every leave, every day. If you opt in, the campaign gets a public page with the day-by-day table. |
| Targeting | Device, OS and browser with versions, carrier and connection, country, city and language, IP, schedule, frequency and budget caps. | No country targeting: Telegram exposes the language an app is set to, not where its owner lives. You see the language mix of who actually arrived. |
| Adult content | Not accepted: its terms for advertisers ban pornography of any kind and adult or mature content. | Built for adult channels and groups. 18+ only, nothing illegal. |
| Smallest test | A minimum deposit that depends on the payment method; see its help centre. | 100 members for €10, plus a small payment fee at checkout. Packages run up to 25,000 members for €750. |
Compare them on cost without trusting either of us
Give every source its own named invite link: open your channel’s profile, then Edit, Invite Links, create a new link and name it after the source. Telegram lets admins see who joined through each link (Telegram’s own note on named links). Send Adsterra traffic through one of them and divide what you spent by the joins it produced. TeleBoost joins are counted by our bot from inside the channel, so the same division works for us.
Then look again a week later. The number that decides is not the join count but how many of those people are still there and opening your posts, and that you can read in your own channel statistics without asking either of us.
When to keep using Adsterra
Keep Adsterra for mainstream offers. If you sell a VPN, a utility app or an e-commerce product, its self-serve popunders and Social Bar with a CPA goal are a reasonable place to test.
For an adult channel or offer, its own terms send you elsewhere: to the adult networks in our comparison or, if the destination is your Telegram channel, to members delivered into it.
Test it with 100 members for €10
Our public counter at /live/ shows 96,049 net members delivered since 16 June 2026, and 35 completed campaigns. Getting there took 329,280 joins, because most people who join during delivery leave again within days: that replacement is the part we pay for, and the reason we never quote the bigger number as if it were the result (read on 3 October 2026).

Does Adsterra allow adult ads?
No. Clause 7 of its terms for advertisers bans pornography of any kind and adult or mature content, and its help centre lists pornographic content among the campaigns that cannot run.
Can I promote a Telegram channel on Adsterra?
Its terms and help centre do not mention Telegram as a destination either way. For an adult channel the content rule settles it before the destination does.
Which ad networks accept adult advertisers?
Of the networks we read, TrafficJunky, ExoClick, TrafficStars, JuicyAds, TwinRed, Adnium, PlugRush, EroAdvertising, HilltopAds and Clickadu say they take adult offers, each with its own rules. Our comparison of adult ad networks lists what each one sells.
No password, ever
The bot goes into your channel as admin in one tap, permissions already set, and you stay the owner. Never a password, never a login code: anyone asking for those wants the channel, not your growth.
Real 18+ users
Members come from adult Telegram channels we operate ourselves, so they already follow this kind of content.
Net target guarantee
We keep delivering until your channel reaches the full increase you bought, counted from where it started. Departures during delivery do not reduce your order.
