HilltopAds or TeleBoost for an adult Telegram channel

This comparison is written by TeleBoost, which sells members for adult Telegram channels, so read it as one side of the table. What it says about HilltopAds comes from HilltopAds’ own public pages, read on 3 October 2026 and listed at the bottom. We do not quote HilltopAds’ prices: they change, and a stale figure would be our mistake, not theirs.

What HilltopAds is

HilltopAds, legally Hilltop Ads Ltd in the UK, launched in 2013 and runs a two-sided network: self-serve and managed buying for advertisers, monetisation for publishers. It claims more than 273 billion impressions a month and over 43,000 vetted publishers. Advertisers buy popunders, in-page push, banners and video: CPM on every format, CPC on in-page, banner and video, and a CPA goal on popunders that keeps buying on CPM while cutting the zones that miss your target.

Adult offers run on a separate non-mainstream channel, available on all four formats, and OnlyFans is named among the offers it accepts; a 2023 post on its blog describes the non-mainstream popunders as shown to visitors of free adult tube sites. A help article from June 2026 states that advertisers may promote links to Telegram channels and bots, with the t.me link itself as the final URL and popunder as the recommended format.

Where HilltopAds is strong

• Telegram as a stated destination. A help article walks you through promoting a channel or bot with a direct t.me link, something none of the other twelve networks we read puts in writing.
• Adult in its own channel. 18+ offers have a dedicated non-mainstream channel on every advertiser format, kept apart from mainstream traffic.
• Optimisation without a big team. CPA goal and Smart CPM on popunders, zone blacklists and whitelists, rule-based auto-optimisation, S2S or JavaScript postback.
• Many ways to buy. Self-serve, fully managed with a personal manager, RTB, an API, even an MCP server for AI assistants.

What HilltopAds says about Telegram and adult

HilltopAds’ guide to promoting Telegram channels and bots sets a few conditions: the link must be public, the channel or bot must be active, its content must follow HilltopAds’ policies, and traffic bought there may not be resold or sent back into HilltopAds. Its prohibited-ads guide adds that creatives, pre-landers and landing pages may not use well-known messenger or social-media brands or their logos, and it bans shocking adult content on landing pages; its terms of use also keep clauses against sexual content in ads, next to a help centre that accepts 18+ offers. The Telegram guide itself does not say whether an 18+ channel qualifies, so check what your channel’s public page shows and ask a manager before you deposit.

What a popunder buys is a new tab with your channel in it, opened while the visitor was doing something else. They did not click your ad; they decide whether to join when they find the tab. Whether that is cheap or expensive per member is something only your own invite-link numbers can tell you.

Compare them on cost without trusting either of us

Give every source its own named invite link: open your channel’s profile, then Edit, Invite Links, create a new link and name it after the source. Telegram lets admins see who joined through each link (Telegram’s own note on named links). Send HilltopAds traffic through one of them and divide what you spent by the joins it produced. TeleBoost joins are counted by our bot from inside the channel, so the same division works for us.

Then look again a week later. The number that decides is not the join count but how many of those people are still there and opening your posts, and that you can read in your own channel statistics without asking either of us.

When to keep using HilltopAds

Keep HilltopAds if you want to run the media buying yourself and find out how cheap a join from a popunder can get for your channel and your countries. It is the one network in this comparison that documents the route, and the targeting stays in your hands.
